I'm Drew Nagda: husband, father, builder, connector.

In 2016, Thalia and I moved west and started real estate from zero, literally from her dad's spare bedroom in the Inland Empire. Since then we've bought and repositioned 300+ distressed properties across Southern California and built the entire machine in-house: direct-to-seller acquisition, construction, design, sales, and leasing.
We're now based in Pasadena with our son Ezra. Still building. Still compounding.

born and raised in small-town florida. the work ethic, the loyalty, the todo es posible: it all starts here.
first company
bloomington, in2006–2010
four years of business school at indiana. the real education was the tutoring company i started on campus: first customers, first hires, first taste of building.
the startup wave
manhattan, ny2010–2016
six years riding nyc tech at full speed. singleplatform from early team to a $100m exit, lean startup machine, rap genius while it became the internet's home for lyrics. i watched companies scale from the inside and took notes.

upland, ca2016–2023
moved west for thalia. her family is from the inland empire, so we landed in her dad's spare bedroom and learned real estate from absolute zero. seven years later: 300+ distressed homes rebuilt and a company that does everything in-house.
home
pasadena, ca2023–now
home base with thalia and ezra, who made me a dad in 2024. the machine runs east of here. the reason for it lives in this house.
eating the world cup, with my son
the plan was simple: eat at an la restaurant for every country in the world cup. it started as a fun way to experience the tournament in our own backyard. four months later it's become an education in culture and cuisine for my son. ezra gets excited to try new foods, experiments with everything on the table, and doesn't need an ipad at a restaurant. he's too busy being there.
